My club got a new CAT-400. YEAH!!! So I am reading the manual in preparation to connect to the TKR-820. I find out that the CAT-400 does not encode or decode CTCSS. BOOO!!! Now what to do? I could connect an external encoder/decoder. I really do not want to do that. Who would have thought a controller that complex wouldn't have CTCSS decode/encode!?!?!? Anyway, can the repeaters own decoder be used? When I jump pin 1 to ground does that kill the '820's internal CTCSS (pl) decoder? HELP!!!! Tnx es 73 de N5NPO Norm
