I'm giving serious consideration to replacing my 17-year old Radio Frequency Systems (Celwave) 1151, 8db Station Master type antenna with a brand new colinear or exposed dipole model. The antenna is being used for a 70 cm repeater.
Any recommendations? Should I just buy a new 1151, or are there manufacturers/models more suited to repeater use (e.g., low noise, more durable, etc.). I chose an 1151 over a 455 (10db model) because I heard the the longer model flexes too much in the wind. Comments? Thanks. Tony
