Brian,

This may be a special product, made for the Department of Energy's Nuclear
Test Site in Nevada. It may be a version of Heliax, shown here:

It does require special connectors and preparation tools, which may be quite
expensive.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] ANDREW 7/8 Hardline Question

Hi All,

I have a fellow ham who has asked me about some 7/8 Andrew hardline he has
received.
This hardline appears to have solid Aluminum center.

On the cable it says: "ANDREW 36060-40 44250 8/81 DOE NV-RF-19 REV-2"

We believe that this may have been used in microwave applications.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Brian WD9HSY
