I had to build one of these 5 years ago. I had a mast from a DB-413 that was a 
406-420 cut antenna.  I used a New DB-408 and a New DB-222 and mounted the 
DB-408 on top and the DB222 on the lower part of the mast. 
I used a good quality RG-8U coax jumper to the bottom of the mast for the 
DB-408. Little to no interaction between the two antennas.

 If I were on a tower that I got charged for each antenna and line I would 
build one of these again and use a single feed line and dual band duplexer.  

I have seen a DB-420 and a DB224 on the same mast but there is to much 
interaction between the two antennas and the return loss goes up.
