Dear friends, My first posting to the group! I am looking for some help to progam an Alinco RS-4 repeater (currently programmed for commercial use) to amateur radio use (for our local city club).
The repeater has a 24C02 eeprom which, Alinco says can be programmed through the MIC connector in the front using pc parallel port. I built an interface and tried to do this but did not work. As a second option, I tried to remove the SMD ic from the board so that I can read it with a eeprom programmer. In that process I damaged it. Now, I have made arrangement in such a way that a regular 24C02 is fitted in an IC Base so that it can be pulled out and programmed at any time. Coming to the point, I need a sample BIN file dump of the 24C02 IC from any one in the group who may be using this repeater. With this, i wll be easily able to program the repeater.
