I think the calculator was in meters instead of miles:

20 miles at 50MHz is 96.58 db of loss, for a recieved signal strength of 
-53dBm, or ~452 uV. 

Which probably isn't strong enough to amount to any interference, so 
matter how wide the reciever is.
