I have one of these sitting in my basement gathering dust. I'm wondering if this could be put to use as a control access point for one of my repeaters?
Of course I wouldn't need it to "return" audio to the portable via that frequency, just be available as the input for repeater control. It seems as if it could be used for this function, but I wanted to bounce this off the learned group for opinions. Thanks, Mark - N9WYS
