Hi People A new member with a litle problem I bought in a Kenwood 820 repeater on internet and according the info the transmitter is not working Received the machine in Brazil with the idée to set up a local repeater on 70 cm Switching it on the machine all the led's start burning and nothing happening
First downloaded the diagram Technical manual and found some points the eeprom solderd on the display board ( I replaces this) with a short cable and a little pcb board outside the front to reach it easier I have a eeprom reader and all I get is ffff so I think its empty second the tp1 - pt2 points near the rx vco - tx- vco giving 8V in stead of 4 according the manual or they do not working I have a German test unit Neuwirth to test receiver and transmitter so that's no problem but first to get the receiver / transmitter working is the case and in Brazil VERY difficult to find some one I hope you have information enough to mabey have a idée / or help what to do to get this beast working there isend a they call signaling board on the conector are just some pins connected with a litle wire so it should worl as cos for this time no problem I hope there is some one to help me out getting it in operational state hi Cees PE1ABY/PY2
