Ben, Just curious here, but why wouldn't you use surplus, or even new commercial gear for your repeater, versus the hamtronics equipment? There is a TON of surplus commercial gear out there that is 1, more robust, and 2, is much more inexpensive. For those who know me, it is no shock that I would recommend commerical gear. There is a wealth of information and help available, and IMHO, the lowest of quality commercial gear, is far superior to the highest grade amatuer gear. I am sure I will get flack from the Yaesu, Icom, and Alinco loyalists. Just my opinion. YMMV.
