It's not a dumb question.  Since a DPL code is simply a string of ones and
zeroes, the only possible reason that one code might be favored over another
is a DC bias resulting from too many ones or zeroes in sequence.  But, the
approved EIA CDCSS codes have been selected to eliminate those which might
be prone to falsing for any reason.  Therefore, you may be confident that
any standard CDCSS code is as reliable as any other.  In fact, you could
select the first five codes in the list, and have the same reliability as
any five codes selected at random.
