I have an STX Portable (800 MHz) that was listed as "Broken" but I fixed the battery prong on the underside of the unit, powered it up with my battery, and hooked it up to the RSS. Now, the S/N tag was removed from the unit, but it has a casing/housing very similar to the SP06 STX Models. 16 channel capable - My point is, is there any way to CONFIRM the model number of this unit? The code plug does not reveal any information (Model comes up as either blank or "????????" in the RSS.) Is this a fishing weight / doorstop / paperweight even though it powers on and TX / RX fine?
