Norm, I have completed my evaluation of the new Andrew Harness for use with 34" dipoles on 150-162 MHz and have completed my design of a matching line section and stub to enable use in the 144-148 MHz band. The final Z measurements and VSWR for the 144-148 range are included for your edification. Needless to say this information is proprietary per our previous agreement. The proprietary line & stub design follows later. The Smith Chart plot shows a very smooth curve and the 1.5:1 VSWR range is from 145.5 to 147.2. The 2.0:1 VSWR is from 145 to 148. Unknown now how the 1/2 WL stub in the harness affects things. Please advise the next step. When I reset the dipole spacing for the antenna, the harness was not long enough to reach the dipoles. Also, the resonant freq seems to be in the low 150 mhz range. SWR readings are very high in the 145 mhz range. Does anyone have a 138-150 range harness they want to sell? Thank you, Steve W4SEF
