I wonder if this feature is offered here in the U.S.

Anyone know for sure? I spoke with a Kenwood/Harris dealer who has been in the 
business for over 30 years and he's never heard of it. And I've never seen it 
in any of the literature or ads offered by manufacturers.

  I cant answer for Kenwood or Harris (M/A-Com) as I have little knowledge of 
these manufacturers radios but somebody in the group will know and point you in 
the right direction for sure

      Yep, most manufactures market a voting portable in one shape or another. 
Motorola Waris series, Some Icom, HYT, Tait and Vertex Standard (I developed 
the Voting software for the VX-820 series).
