Thanks Mike, so you are saying no preamp needed and any recommendations for an 
amp to be combined with the rig.  I have a Henry UHF amp in hand.  I would 
think any amp would work with simple RF out of the repeater.  Am just curious 
more about sensitivity than anything.

  Your repeater should receive good to a -120db. You can get it a bit better 
with some time tuning. If your repeater is out of the box it will be def and 
will need to be tuned.

  What about driving an amp: any recommendation there? An amp putting out
