Jeff was correct to question. I was vague. What I should have said was indicated reflected power, not VSWR.

But good luck trying to determine an accurate VSWR based on erroneous reflected readings.

    I don't know what that's supposed to mean. The VSWR on the line is
    the same
    no matter where along the line you measure it. If you're using a
    meter that
    reads a different VSWR depending where on the line you put it, you
    need a
    new meter...
