Hello all, I think I have the problem resolved! I went to the repeater site and modified the plug that goes in to the exciter by putting two resistors and a jumper on the plug to enable the compensate line. Gerald, AA4YQ told me about this. The spare repeater I have here at home already had this mod so I just duplicated it on the one at the site. The one here at the house is very very stable. I did not realize the one at the site did not have this fix. So far it is rock steady and holding frequency!
