I use Replicant 4.2 on a i9300 daily. As my only cellphone, it works
perfectly well. Every so often, I wish that I could download large files
over WiFi, but that minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for the
freedom gained by using the OS. Like many open-source, consumer-grade
projects, the market share may be relatively small, but as long as there
are projects like Replicant, those of us who care will have an
alternative to proprietary software. I don't know how many people are
like me, but there are bound to be at-least a few.
