'adb backup' can't be used with any app that declare allowBackup=false
which alas is a bit too many apps for it to be usable as a backup
solution.  At least that was my conclusion when I looked into backup
options.

I have been using 'oandbackup' to perform batch backups to the SD card.
Then I can use oandbackup to restore relevant apps later on.
