Hi,

I just ordered a S3 I9305, and then found out that Replicant doesn't yet
support voice or SMS for this model ... doh.

Just got a radio log, samsung-ril is missing the following (in order of

Nope, QMI-RIL[1] is missing ;)

Best regards,

Kind of. I'm not sure if libqmi, which it's based on, is capable of
setting up a voice call or SMS yet. Perhaps one of the problem is libqmi
doesn't have any way to send AT commands to the modem? Most of the docs
I've seen on Gobi modems, is that the AT commands are sent via qcserial.
I may be completely wrong on this, but perhaps if I have time, I will
try to see if there are any serial devices listed within
android/replicant and try and send some commands to the device file if so.

The proprietary libqmi has an ATCOP function
http://git.osmocom.org/quectel-experiments/tree/qmi/atcop_test.c which
is able (using QMI) to do this, but searching for libqmi-glib ATCOP
didn't result in much.
