Hi,

the error message you describe seems to indicate that the currently
selected camera is the *front* one, which is not supported by Replicant.
As such, whenever you open the camera app, it crashes because the front
camera is selected.
Now, as you can't access the app, the only way to revert it back to
using the rear camera is to clear the app's saved data.

I personally tried this and it worked:

Settings -> Apps -> Camera (com.android.camera) -> Storage -> Clear Data

It should not delete your pictures, but I suggest you back them up
before proceeding, just in case..
