The produced file will be placed in the current directory.

To restore it, you could use

adb push backup_mmcblk0_i9100.img /dev/block/mmcblk0

However, you should avoid writing EFS (see the exact partition on the dedicated 
webpage) since it contains IMEI and MAC address.
I heard it is possible to get it back even if EFS was erased but I don't know 
how to do this.

To do this, you could also backup specifically each partition, i.e. 
/dev/block/mmcblk0pX where X take every value of partition needed to be 
backuped (probably depends on the device)
