Package: reportbug
Version: 1.99.50
Severity: wishlist

Having debianbts.py available is *nice*... especially the BTSParser.
Not having to sys.path.append() would be even nicer ;-)

Was a piece o' cake to get my submitted bugs redirected to
a new address (~10 lines).

(Of course, the libs should end up in
/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/reportbug, with an (empty) __init__.py
being in there too.)

Hello Jürgen,
since the time this bug has been reported, a couple of other
interesting packages appeared:

$ apt-cache search "python-btsutils|python-debianbts"
python-btsutils - Python module to interact with debbugs servers
python-debianbts - Python interface to Debian's Bug Tracking System.

I think you can use them to work on BTS.

Regards,
Sandro
