Select mailer:

You don't see this menu? else?

I see this menu, plus the button Cancel and the button Ok at the bottom.

 - "Cancel"

what does that mean? Ctrl+c ? else?

I click on the button Cancel.

(the bug does not appear if I "Ok")

"Ok" what?

I click on the button Ok.

The output is:

the output is edited... so it contains much less information for me to
debug the problem... Please provide a complete and unaltered log of
reportbug execution. (hint --debug option may help)

The output on the console is (with the --debug option) is in the joined reportbug.output. The resulting bugreport in /tmp is joined too. This time I edited the bug text.

 File "/usr/bin/reportbug", line 274, in handle_editing
   if not utils.mua_exists(utils.MUA[mailer]):
KeyError: -1

when does this happen? doing what?

It happens when I click on the button Cancel.
