Are you completely sure it's not postfix that tries to be over-smart
and change stuff under your nose? I've tried with this commandline:

$ reportbug --paranoid -O [email protected] reportbug

and got this envelop:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
From: Sandro Tosi <[email protected]>

so the email specified is the one used to sent the email. I suspect an
MTA setup to generate the problem, not reportbug.
