It appears the reportbug ignores my proxy settings when trying to query the BTS. Neither the environment nor .reportbugrc have any effect. Therefore, I need to use reportbug -b in order to file bug reports, and I cannot conveniently check if my bug has already been reported. No apologies if this bug is a duplicate! Older versions of reportbug did not suffer from this problem.
