Package: reportbug
Version: 6.4.3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
As can be seen I have put text and then editor as "/usr/bin/leafpad"
then why do I get the unregnized token:text

$ reportbug
Unrecognized token: text
Please enter the name of the package in which you have found a
problem, or type 'other' to report a more general
problem.
> reportbug

If I look at /etc/reportbug.conf and see which are valid options I get this.

$ cat /etc/reportbug.conf | grep interface
# User interface: text, urwid or gtk2

$ cat .reportbugrc
# reportbug preferences file
# character encoding: UTF-8
# Version of reportbug this preferences file was written by
reportbug_version "6.4.3"
# default operating mode: one of: novice, standard, advanced, expert
mode standard
# default user interface
text

Looking forward to what I did wrong (if it's something at my end.)

you hand't look hard enough:

$ grep -A2 interface /etc/reportbug.conf
# User interface: text, urwid or gtk2
# querybts and reportbug will use this setting
# ui text

that's the correct syntax. Closing as invalid.
