Hi, I just noticed that STARTTLS works when adding `smtptls` to `~/.reportbugrc`. The issue might have been related to an untrusted certificate which I needed to add to `/usr/share/ca-certificates` and enable using `sudo dpkg-reconfigure ca-certificates` (`reportbug` only gave me the feedback `SMTP send failure: Connection unexpectedly closed: timed out.`). If the issue occurs again, I'll investigate further.
