Package: reportbug
Version: 6.5.0+nmu1
Severity: normal
In case of an SMTP error, there is basically no quick&easy way for the
user to correct the error. Example:
Connecting to reportbug.debian.org via SMTP...
SMTP send failure: (550, 'No valid sender found in the From:, Sender: and
Reply-to:
headers'). Do you want to retry (or else save the report and exit)? [Y|n|q|?]?
How am I supposed to fix it? A basic solution would be to offer the user
to edit the raw message and add the missing headers.
Regards,
Eduard.

Likely a missed configuration or mail filtering.

I dont think reportbug should be in the business of going to low level
in the SMTP messaging, for sure not of providing a raw SMTP message
editor.
