Dear Maintainer,
I use Debian Installer Stretch RC 3 to install Debian on my computer.
I use "cat /proc/cpuinfo" to check the CPU frequency.
there is no CPU frequency scaling. I got a fixed 3.20 GHz frequency.
My CPU is Intel i7 6900k. the frequency is from 1.2 GHz to 4.0 GHz
motherboard is ASUS x99-E WS USB3.1
I tested Debian 8.7 and ubuntu 16.04.2, the CPU frequency scaling is working
properly.
I also use the CD image download from debian.org. to boot my computer. then I
enter root shell and run "cat /proc/cpuinfo". When I use CD image for Debian
8.7, I can see frequency scaling. But when I use CD image for Debian Installer
Stretch RC 3， I got a fixd 3.20 GHz.
