source: obnam
version: 1.8-1
Severity: serious

Hi Lars,

While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], we have noticed that
obnam fails to build from source:

running build_scripts
creating build/scripts-2.7
copying and adjusting obnam -> build/scripts-2.7
copying and adjusting obnam-viewprof -> build/scripts-2.7
changing mode of build/scripts-2.7/obnam from 644 to 755
changing mode of build/scripts-2.7/obnam-viewprof from 644 to 755

I could also reproduce this issue locally on my laptop with pbuilder.
