Looks like gcc-6 got updated in the meantime, invalidating the changes - and 
making some more things unreproducible because I had disabled the 
-fdebug-prefix-map fix in dpkg.

I've removed these patches now. On Monday I'll reupload dpkg but only disable 
-fdebug-prefix-map on amd64, and then try to keep gcc-6 (amd64 only) updated 
over the next few weeks. It seems doko is uploading new versions roughly once 
every 1-2 weeks, and if I use pb17 to build with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck the 
build should only take 1-2 hours.
