Microsoft Application consultant
Rate: 55/hr (Max)
Client: John Deere
Location :- Moline,IL
Duration :- 4-6 months
First call assistance (tier 2) and second call (tier 2 after escalation) for
certain tools and applications.
Receive customer's request and track progress to closure.
Validate description of issue with user and confirm attempts to
Continue diagnostic determination.
Attempt to isolate and resolve issue.
Advise user on appropriate methods and operations.
If needed provide escalation for issue with additional information.
Coach user on product's purpose, support process, cost and training
Provide custom services for certain tools (template, reports, etc.)
Create, maintain and share user training documents.
Operate within service level agreements and maintain metrics
Tools and applications to include but not limited to:
Sharepoint 2003, 2007
Desktop data tools MSQuery, QMF for Windows, DDE, Excel and Access
Assistance with SQL and DB connectors
Microsoft Project, Word, Powerpoint, Visio
Qualifications and skills:
Customer service orientation
Great communication skills
Attention to detail
Knowledge of desktop tools, specific tools and business
Good analytical and diagnostic skills
Microsoft certification is desirable
