Senior Java designer/developer with proven ability to develop design artifacts with minimum supervision. Familiarity with component based design is a must and with service-oriented architecture a plus. Experience with Java Server Faces and WebSphere Portal (preferably version 6) is required. Experience with Rational Software Architect or similar design tools needed. Able to develop comprehensive unit test plans. Familiarity with Javadoc, Junit. Rational ClearCase helpful. Also experienced in translating design into java code in a distributed environment using application server, process server, and portal server. Must Have: Experience with Java, JSP, JSF, Portal and J2EE development. Experience with WebSphere Portal (preferably version 6). Must have strong design and development skills. Experience with Oracle RDBMS. Nice to Have: Experience with LDAP, and Tivoli Access Manager (TAM). Experience with Rational Application Developer (RAD), UML design notation, experience with use cases, experience with RUP, and experience with Rational RequisitePro.
