*Background/Experience Required
•BS in marketing, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative
decision science field required.
•Minimum 4year experience in SAS programming. Proficient in MS Excel and
Power Point.
•Minimum 2 year professional experience required in promotion analysis,
database marketing, marketing research, or forecasting.
•Experience applying advanced statistical and database marketing skills to
the pharmaceutical, CPG, or financial services industries.

Background/Experience Preferred

•Advanced degree with concentration in marketing, statistics, operations
research, or other quantitative decision science field preferred.
•Experience with IMS DDD, prescriber Rx data, or patient level data strongly
•In depth knowledge of statistics (cluster analysis, regression models,
experimental design, etc.) preferred.
•Experience working with pharmaceutical sales and marketing organi     zations
•Strong communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) plus
the ability to present technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Position Details

•Specialty Analytics is an internal consulting group providing marketing
analytics support to client account based products (Oncology, Acute care,
and Vaccine).
•The Specialty Analytics Analyst will leverage IMS DDD data, Prescriber Rx
Data (PRx), Patient level data (CRx), GSK call data, etc. to provide
analysis and insights. Analyze data using MS Excel, VBA, and/or SAS.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to
oDeveloping physician and account level targeting
oAnalyzing impact of promotional programs.
oConducting sales force sizing/structuring exercise.
oOptimizing resources allocation.
oSeeking innovative methods and processes for delivering all of the above.
•Work closely with the brand teams, the therapeutic teams, and the sales
organization to understand the business issues and ensure that analysis and
recommendation are linked to brand strategy.
•Collaborate with Professional Analytics and Consumer Analytics to share
best practice. *
