*Need very strong system tester with **HP OpenView **experience* Client is currently seeking a Systems Tester *Pay Rate: * $40.00/ hr c2c (Max) *Duration: * 12 Months *Location: * Morris town, NJ PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Systems Tester will be responsible for resolving defects within enterprise IP Network applications. Primary responsibilities will include Creating test plans and performing the end to end systems and performance testing activities on the network technologies. Specific roles may include testing Network Server alarm functionalities by creating test plans and performing simulated testing scenarios using BMC Patrol and HP Openview. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IP Networking and testing methodologies along with a thorough understanding of common industry Network Management Systems, including but not limited to HPOV, Network Node Manager, Openview Operations, Cisco Works, Netcool, BMC Patrol and SNMP. Additional knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems such as Linux, AIX and Sun Solaris as well as back-end Network relational databases such as Oracleor SQL would be a plus. *Required Skills:* - Expert Network Server / Systems Testing experience (Test plans, testing methodologies, testing environment and tools) - Background knowledge of IP Networks (Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, gateways, Fiber Optic technologies (SONET), LAN/WAN, Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS, etc. - Strong HANDS-ON experience with common Network Management: SNMP, HPOV, NNM, OVO, BMC Patrol, etc. - Experience with UNIX operating systems (basic administration & scripting skill) - Experience with Oracle or SQL as relational back-end database systems (very basic administration skills) *Desired Skills:* BMC Patrol, *HP OpenView*, SMARTS, IXIA, Mimic, INMS Thanks & Regards, Gopal IT Logix go...@itlogix.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
