This is a 6 month project that will begin ASAP. Below is an overview of the position for you to review. Top skill needed is Sr. level SQL Server 2005 DBA skills with mid-level Oracle 9i DBA skills. Mentoring and/or training experience is required. Currently seeking a SQL Server 2005 DBA for a 3-5 month contract position with one of our Pharmaceutical clients. Our client has recently hired a Jr.DBA and they need a Senior person to come in, mentor and bring this DBA up to speed before unleashing him/her into full blown DBA responsibilities. Ideally, experience with mentoring Jr. DBA's would be ideal however this is not required.
