Please revert to ro...@trustek.com Charlotte, NC Oracle Database Developer 12 month project Oracle Database Developer to support the Internet Authentication Services Team. Under the direction of a lead database developer, participate in Oracle development and support for the databases and objects within them for the Authentication Services suite of applications. Collaborate with production DBAs, java developers, build engineers, QA testers, and deployment engineers while working on projects under the direction of the database team lead. Work may be individual or paired with other DBAs/developers across various assignments. REQUIREMENTS. Candidate must have strong Oracle database administration experience in version 10g release 2 or above. Experience with Oracle 11g is a plus. PL/SQL and SQL DDL and DML writing/tuning experience are required. This includes knowledge of writing stored procedures, functions and packages. Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) experience using oracle tools such as sql*loader, datapump and flat files is important. Applicant should have experience with TOAD or other Oracle front end tool and have Object Oriented Programming skills. Shell scripting skills in KShell and/or CShell are a plus. Experience with Real Application Clusters (RAC) and RMAN are also recommended. Database design experience including normalization techniques and data warehousing design are a positive. Applicant should also have the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment or individually. Typical hours are 8-5 but regular off-hours implementations change that schedule 2-5 times per month.
