Position: Sr. Business Analyst Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12+ Months Bill Rate: $50/Hr Duties and Responsibilities: § Collaborate with business teams (such as marketing) to discuss technical feasibilities and explore best technical approach to innovative design and functionality proposals. § Act as project manager by maintaining continuous communication with key stakeholders and developers throughout development and the testing lifecycle to ensure final product meets requirements and expected outcomes. § Manage projects from inception through completion, to include project plan development, presentation development, preparation of agendas, timelines, and meeting facilitation. § Develop RFPs, RFIs, Project Briefs, Project Charters and vendor inquiry documents for all web related projects that require a vendor. § Work with business owners to develop test case scenarios for functional enhancements. § Maintain awareness of web coding and browser standards and trends Other Skills and Abilities: § The successful business analyst must have a true passion for excellence in his/her work and be highly organized, detailed oriented, thorough, and follow through on commitments. § Must understand the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communications. § Must also be able to effectively work with web designers and developers, senior architects, outsourcing partners, and non-technical business staff. § Excellent organizational skills § Excellent attention to detail § The use of good judgment and good interpersonal communication skills § Well developed analytical and problem solving skills § Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team § Additionally, they will demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting scheduled commitments with error free delivery. § A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job § Exercises confidentiality and discretion. Extra Notes for Recruiters: The candidates must be extremely detailed in their requirement gathering and designing of documents. The larger and bigger the project the better.
