*EMC Openings – Louisville, KY* * * *Opportunity #1 – NAS Architect *** *Location:* Louisville, KY *Duration:* 2+ months (320 hours) *Potential for extension/renewal after initial duration:* Leans toward yes. *Scope* - Provide NAS architectural and design support - Provides array data layout support associated with NAS solutions, working closely with functional groups and business units to determine performance, availability, and capacity needs - Expertise with EMC software supporting provisioning, monitoring, analysis, configuration, and reporting of NAS hardware *- Highly skilled with configuration of EMC NAS* solutions, including data migration strategies and tools for cross-vendor and/or cross-generation migrations *- Thorough understanding of IP networking, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS methodologies and the EMC solutions which deliver these solutions* - Capable of EMC NAS performance analysis, system monitoring, and troubleshooting - Awareness of Operating Systems and their features and functions for hosts utilizing the NAS-based solutions for storage devices *Skills* *- EMC Celerra * *- EMC Celerra Manager, Celerra Replicator, Celerra Antivirus Agent (CAVA)* *Nice to have, but not required....* - Anything NetApp *Opportunity #2 – NAS Engineer/Architect*** *Location:* Louisville, KY *Duration:* 1+ month (160 hours) *Potential for extension/renewal after initial duration:* Doubtful. *Scope* - Customer is replacing Novell servers with EMC Celerra - Test NAS Data Mover failover, ensure status monitoring and alerts is functioning properly - Review the proposed migration plan.
