Below is the job description to which I am referring for a current job opening located in Wilmington, DE: 'Manage business sponsors expectations to ensure delivery of solutions. To manage teams of business analysts, technicians, administrators, engineers, other vendors, quality teams, and support teams in accomplishing project objectives within budget and scope of the project using proven project management methodologies. This includes providing effective project management, meeting project timeframes and budget requirements, motivating team members, and supporting overall corporate objectives. Assist in the project estimation by preparing preliminary project plan schedules and budgets for incorporation into Project Initiation documents. Assist in the identification of project staffing requirements, and participate in the selection of team members. Also responsible for providing priorities and direction to project team members, and keeping team members informed and motivated throughout the course of the project. Prepare the detailed project plan -- tasks, schedules, and dependencies and the project budget. Coordinate all project activities in accordance with established project scope, schedules and budgets. Includes task prioritization, anticipation of problems, scheduling shifts and conflict resolution as needed. Also includes arranging and conducting regular project meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes, and following up on meeting action lists and assignments. Prepare and distribute regularly scheduled project updates to required personnel, business sponsors, project team and management to ensure project is set to be delivered on time and in budget.' Position is for QA Project Manager. Resource must have significant experience leading QA teams focused on one or more applications. Must be conversant with testing strategies including risk based testing. Must display deep understanding of developing and communicating metrics and status to all levels of the organization.
