The candidate must be proficient in *object oriented methodologies with demonstrable experience in all stages of application development life cycle. * Provide technical support for critical production system. Troubleshoot system issues reported by Help Desk. The candidate will be required to work in a team environment. He or she will be expected to learn the architecture of the existing application, review requirements documents, create technical design documents, develop and deploy technical solutions. *Knowledge and Skills:* Ø Real time experience supporting major production applications Ø 3 years of experience with JAVA / J2EE Ø *Working knowledge of Adobe Flex* Ø Experience in working with UDB / DB2 database applications Ø Working knowledge of web-services, WSAD/RAD or Eclipse Ø Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Ø Proven written and oral communication skills * * *Other skills that would be needed, but not a priority:* Ø Previous experience in automotive applications is a plus. Ø Knowledge of Vignette Content Management or Vignette Application Portal is a plus.
