*Role: Cobol Testers* *Location: EDD in Downtown Sacramento ,CA* *Pay Rate C2C: $30 per hour (can’t go beyond this, sorry)* *Length of Contract - 1 - 2 yr contract* We just picked up (10) positions for Cobol testers in Sacramento. They are going to start bringing on people within the next week or two. The closer to CA the better, but will accept candidates out of state. They will do a phone screen and then have them start. *Mandatory Qualifications* At least five (5) years experience in mainframe COBOL and online CICS Test Case creation. At least five (5) years experience creating mainframe COBOL and online CICS manual and automated test scripts and performing end to end system testing with IDMS and DB2 databases. At least five (2) years experience in automated test tools such as LoadRunner and HP QC. Experience creating mainframe COBOL and online CICS test data and executing test cases for new application features. Testing may also encompass regression, usability, performance, integration, and end to end system testing. Mainframe COBOL and online CICS Test Script creation and Test Execution experience on a similar size project. Experience with TSO and ChangeMan common mainframe utilities. *Desirable Qualifications* Experience working at EDD within the previous seven (7) years. The ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work well with a wide variety of personalities and diverse groups across locations.
