6+ Months Contract
Job Description: ARS/Remedy developer needed to develop/enhance internal
trouble ticketing/contact management application. Developer will participate
in full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering,
development, and testing. Must be a self-starter and be able to complete
tasks with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Development and customization of
trouble ticketing application. Implementation of new features and
enhancements. Ensure quality in all developed features and enhancements.
Technical support for customized software. Collaborate with users to define
requirements for application improvements.
The selected candidate will: lead and participate in code reviews, lead
demos of changes they have completed, and work closely with development team
to review cross functional impacts of their assigned change requests (i.e.
regression testing). The ideal candidate would demonstrate a strong
willingness to experiment/tinker/"when in doubt, try it out" on dev/test

Software/Programming: Advanced ARS Remedy Development ARS 7.0
SQL Databases: Oracle
Operating Systems: Unix, Windows
Web Services Development: Perl or PHP, Soap UI (or similar), Soap, XML, KSH
Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years of software development, 4+ years of
ARS/Remedy Development experience
