Job Title Project Manager – Oracle HRMS Implementations Practice Human
Segment Corporate Reporting to Ed McDonald
LOB Corporate Level Temporary Contract – approximately 2.5 years

The Role
As a Project Manager you will serve as a technical project manager for the
successful global implementation of Oracle HRMS ERP across multiple business
groups and legislations. This position will be report to the Global Director
of HR systems & Operations and be responsible for keeping the project on
task and ensuring that all technical and functional requirements are
successfully met for this ERP implementation.
Performance Objectives:
• Drive the implementation of several of the Oracle E-Business Suite Human
Resources Management System applications to help automate the employee life
cycle process including: Oracle Human Resources; Oracle Daily Business
Intelligence for Human Resources and Oracle Self Service HR
• Provide functional and technical subject matter expertise on Oracle HRMS
o Data migration
o Configuration of the new ERP system
o Interfacing with ERP vendor specialists
o Integrating with legacy systems
o Testing management, both unit tests and user acceptance tests
o Post Implementation Support management
• Serve as a liaison between HR department stakeholders, IT, Finance and
external vendor personnel in the analysis, design, functional configuration,
E2E testing, and maintenance of ERP applications to ensure the best system
• Drive superior, consistent project management for concurrent projects
o Translate business needs into comprehensive project plans including
objectives, timeline, deliverables, budget and quality standards;
o Manage the implementation team's day-to-day work: resolve priorities,
resources and conflicts, and reprioritize issues as needed to meet time
o Serve as primary, daily contact to stakeholders on delivery of project
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with stakeholder contacts through
efficient, quality execution of projects, effective communication, and value
added advice
• Facilitate meetings between stakeholders, Information Technology and
vendors to help foster a better business partnership
• Reporting relationship to Program Management, ensuring all Risks & Issues
are captured and escalated as required. Delivering timely accurate reports
on status for Program meetings
• Work within prescribed budget for project plans
• Forecast spend & report monthly

• Manage performance of teams composed of business analysts, developers,
operational centers of excellence and others against project goals:
o Hold regular meetings to monitor progress
o Identify and help resolve issues
o Motivate and provide developmental direction to team members
• Participate in local, regional and national meetings as requested
The Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years experience leading ERP implementations with strong
knowledge of HR and significant experience of at least 3 Oracle HRMS
implementations/upgrade projects along with experience of multiple business
groups & legislation
• Experience with Oracle's AIM methodology
• Proven experience successfully leading project teams with multifaceted,
competing priorities and deadlines, including virtual work teams with
members in different geographic regions
• Strong analytical, integrative and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance
driven environment
• Sense of accountability, owning one’s work and taking pride in it;
commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Proven experience in effectively managing resources that are not directly
part of the incumbent’s organization
• Strong business acumen; ability to learn quickly about HR’s business
• Proficient in MS Office and Project
• PMP certification highly preferred
• A bachelor’s degree; MBA is highly preferred
• Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed
