Location: Brisbane, CA Duration: 4 Months + *Linux Solaris System Engineer * Experience & Desired Skills: 8+ years of Linux systems experience in a 24x7 environment. At least 4 years of recent experience with Redhat Linux is required. 8+ years of system administration experience Linux. Solaris experience is extremely helpful. Advanced Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) desirable SAN experience on 50+ TB of storage across multiple subsystems. Hitachi Data Systems is a plus. ECommerce active/active site build, design and failure point analysis experience. Ability to document project designs. History of progressively complex project management experience. Experience & Desired Skills: * 8+ years of Unix systems administration experience in a 24x7 environment. At least 5 years of recent experience with Solaris (9, 10) is required. * Sun hardware experience. Large systems (M-series, etc.) desirable. * Advanced Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) required * SAN experience on 50+ TB of storage across multiple subsystems.
