Location: Kansas City, MO Duration: 6 Months Rate: $38/hr on C2C MAX No of openings: 4 Job Description: Develops & implements procedures for maintaining and or enhancing the integrity of systems applications. Ensures the existence of development and service standards. Ensures that requirements are clearly defined and testable. Responsible for the creation and execution of detailed test plans and scripts to verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements. Execution of scripts will include progress reporting, defect tracking and risk assessments. May be responsible for the maintenance, training, and information communications for tools used to support the product development process Use on a repetitive basis for troubleshooting (i.e. – when other users call, the test script is used for the purposes of troubleshooting their issue) Proficient in the following: 1) SQA Analysis- Ability to read and comprehend business requirements and high level design deliverables well enough to create detailed test cases. Ability to map test cases to business requirements. Basic understanding of *development lifecycle and quality assurance phases* 2) *Mercury Quality Center* or other similar tools - Basic understanding including navigation between functional areas within the tool. Ability to input or load and execute test cases and document actual results within the tool 3) *MS Office tools* 4) Can write and execute basic *SQL statements* Works closely with business analysis and development teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements and are of high quality. Includes analysis of business and technical requirements and specifications, development of test strategies and plans, development and execution of automated and manual test cases and test scripts, and communication of test results and outcomes. Reviews Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify those requirements are successfully met.
