Job Description & Required skills:

 

Skill set: 

10+ years of PeopleSoft experience
Recent "hands-on" expert level knowledge and experience with implementing 
Competency Management (and associated tables) in PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 and 9.1. 
Experience with Profile Manager (and associated tables) in HRMS 
9.1.Employee/Manager/Administrator Security related to Competency Management 
and Profile Manager Talent Management Integration.
Experience leading 9.1 HCM upgrade

Candidates must be:
A senior level Peoplesoft consultant with leadership skills and have the 
ability to influence others; someone on the solutions side of the business
A PeopleSoft expert that can help with technical direction and with influencing 
business direction specifically in the area of Talent MgtN with specific 
knowledge of Skills MgtM 
An expert in the Competency Mgt V8.9 module of PeopleSoft and an expert in 
Profile Manager V9.1 of PeopleSoft
Able to excel in completing difficult engagements under budget
Available within 2-3 weeks 

 

 

Additional instructions or preferences:

 

Skill set: Expert level knowledge and experience with implementing Competency 
Management (and associated tables) in HRMS 8.9 and 9.1. Profile Manager (and 
associated tables) in HRMS 9.1.Employee/Manager/Administrator Security related 
to Competency Management and Profile Manager Talent Management Integration.

 

A functional / technical PeopleSoft expert that can help with technical 
direction and with influencing business direction specifically in the area of 
Talent MgtN with specific knowledge of Skills MgtM. The person should be an 
expert in the Competency Mgt V8.9 module of PeopleSoft and an expert in Profile 
Manager V9.1 of PeopleSoft. The resource needs to be a senior level consultant. 
 We are not just looking for a position but probably someone from the 
"Solutions" side of their business

 

expertise / experience in a majority of the following: 

REQUIRED 

  a.. PeopleTools  - REQUIRED  
  b.. PeopleCode  - REQUIRED  
PREFERRED: 

  a..  Workflow   
  b.. Application Engine    
  c.. Unix Jobscripts   
  d.. Component Interface 
  e.. ETL 
  f.. SQR 
  g.. EPM 
 

Technical Expert PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Must have education, professional 
training/certification, and education in areas relevant to the PeopleSoft 
module(s).  (2-5+ Years).  

  a.. Experience using high-level programming languages such as COBOL. 
  b.. Experience using object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and 
Java. 
  c.. Experience working under supervision in the design, development and 
implementation of computer software. 
  d.. Experience in the preparation of documentation, conducting program tests, 
and correcting program errors. 
  e.. Knowledge of sound computer programming standards, conventions and 
techniques. 
  f.. Expertise with one or more of the PeopleSoft modules.  Specific expertise 
dependent on the needs outlined in the contract request 
 

PeopleSoft Functional Expert

These resources have the ability and experience to understand the business 
process and business flows to configure / tailor the software to execute the 
business process.  Functional resources may have a CPA, MBA, Human Resources 
designation(s), and / or other Professional Certifications.  These resources 
will work with the business subject matter experts and the technical experts to 
automate business processes / flows.

 

The Functional Experts, should have:

  a.. Education/Experience with the recent software versions of the PeopleSoft 
applications. 
  b.. Experience with business related configuration and set-up relevant to the 
PeopleSoft module(s)/processes. 
  c.. Experience in the preparation of testing, training, and 
procedures/process documentation. 
  d.. Experience in conducting unit, systems and performance tests, and 
troubleshooting/resolving errors. 
  e.. Working knowledge of metadata/data tables relevant to the PeopleSoft 
module(s)/processes. 
  f.. Experience using PeopleSoft Query/nVision Reporting Tools. 
PREFERRED BACKGROUND: functional resources must have education, professional 
training/certification, and education in areas relevant to the PeopleSoft 
module(s) and the specific business area (e.g. Payroll, Human Resources, 
General Ledger, etc.).  (2-5 Years).
