*Please send me the updated profile as per client requirement** **along with contact details, Visa Status, location and get back to me ASAP* *Title : **QA Analyst / Business Analyst** *** *Duration : 6+months* *Location : NYC* *Job Description & Required skills:* To effectively manage a full life cycle testing process that is technology independent, as well as flexible and scalable enough to support software development efforts of varying scope and complexity; Follow rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC), quality and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements, and adhere to Change Control and Problem Management procedures. • Works on multiple Quality Assurance / Quality Control tasks across one or two disciplines. • Implements and have a strong working knowledge of the full life cycle testing process and software Quality Assurance / Quality Control processes on all assigned projects. • Participates in special projects along with senior staff, assisting in developing new initiatives and process improvements. • Working knowledge of test automation tools for functional and performance testing. • Reviews project portfolio • Coordinates end to end Systems Tests • Reviews and approves FRD • Responsible for assessing resource needs, resource assignments and Systems Testing estimates • Works with BA on establishing regression testing requirements • QA Governance- generate and review productivity reports • Manage UAT • Completely adept at understanding and executing the details across multiple operations functions within the end-to-end flow of operations. • Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve business problems. • Adept at understanding operational nuances across multiple business areas. • Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills; solid technical and problem solving abilities. • Responsible for supervising staff in the execution of projects • May serve as back-up for manager. • May have involvement with the business during its strategic planning and budget cycles to leverage knowledge and anticipate technology transformation potential from a customer perspective; provides buy vs. build recommendations; assists in platform determination. •*These Specific Applications and technologies are a MUST: Murex * Minimum 7 years of *QA Lead Experience in Financial service markets* with exposure to one or more of the following ? Compliance (application driven business rules) ? Brokerage and trading (investment and insurance products) ? Financial services products General Pluses for this position; ? Exposure with Third party vendors ? Experience with data validation testing including SQL skills ? Experience with one or more development methodologies (water fall , agile , V-model ) ? Understands how to leverage test management tools, and test automation tools Day to Day activities include ? Manage onsite and offshore QA resources ? Test planning and development ? Ability to translate business requirements into test plans scenarios and scripts ? Report Metrics ? Issue resolution ? Strategic planning ? Resource Management ? Use Case documents , ?
