*Role: CISCO Communications Engineer***
*Location: Boston, MA. Candidates should be local to MA as a Face to Face
Interview will be REQUIRED. ***
*Duration: 6 months***
-Minimum of 5 years of Cisco CUCM experience and have expertise in an
engineering support role.
-CCVP or CCIE or equivalent experiences with CUCM and MeetingPlace
specializations -Experience and subject matter expertise with Cisco UCCE
also a plus.
-Hands-on demonstrated experience and subject matter expertise with the
following platforms: Cisco CUCM 6.x, Cisco Unity 5.x, Cisco CUEAC, Cisco
MeetingPlace, Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco LAN / WAN, Singlewire
Informacast, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange -Past consulting
experience as the individual will often be acting in a consultative role and
as an advisor -The ability to articulate solutions to such diverse
constituencies as project managers, clients, business stakeholders and
engineers and to coordinate (with both project management and engineering)
major systems events such as application upgrades, launches, load tests and
deployments -The ability to prepare technical reports, client presentations,
design documentation and manuals.
Cisco Unified Communications Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) responsible
for assessing the customers current capabilities to support a Cisco
-Engineer will be responsible for assessing the customers support staff and
then develop training plans for each of the Cisco platforms they will
support -Must have experience in development and delivery of training
curriculum (i.e. technical workshops) for level 1 3 support personnel.
-Experience developing help desk and NOC support processes including adds,
moves changes, reporting, scripting, monitoring and troubleshooting.
