Posting Title: Business Analyst Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 6 months Rate: $40/hr on C2C or 1099 (Max) Position Description/Responsibilities: 1. Tasks The Business Analyst will perform the following tasks, including, but not limited to: □ Participation in project planning, action, and status meetings, documentation and follow-up on agreements from same □ Assistance in the completion of project deliverables during each phase, focusing on planning and reviewing project deliverables from the system contractor and internal workgroups □ Assistance in the development of other deliverables as determined by the Project Manager. □ Assistance in the development of project management templates and deliverables. □ Assistance in the conduct, management, and documentation of requirements confirmation (JAD) sessions. □ Assistance and guidance in the development of the Data Migration, Training / Implementation, and System Transition Plans. □ Assistance in the hiring of system support staff. □ Assistance in the procurement of hardware and/or data center processing services and the development of service level agreements for same. □ Assistance and guidance in the development of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Plan and UAT test cases. □ Assistance in the conduct and management of UAT. □ Assistance in tracking and managing the resolution of test defects. □ Assistance in the development of training materials and management of training delivery. □ Assistance in the development of user documentation. □ Assistance in the completion of security compliance scans of software deliverables. □ Assistance in the conduct and management of system rollout. □ Assistance in relating best practices, mentoring, and/or training other staff. Position Requirements/Technical Skills: Required: □ Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university. □ Superior verbal and written communication skills. □ 3+ years group facilitation for business analysis and requirements development. □ 3+ years planning, managing, and/or supporting data migrations. □ 3+ years development and execution of test plans, cases, scripts (manual and automated), plus documentation, tracking, and management of test results. □ 3+ years development of user and technical documentation. □ 3+ years planning, managing, and/or delivering large scale user or technical training. □ 3+ years planning, managing, and/or supporting large scale system implementations.
